Introduction

Truckmovement Inc is a non-asset-based freight brokerage company that was founded back in 2005. We are located in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania near Johnstown and Somerset. Truckmovement acts as a liaison between customers and motor carriers. We have successfully helped various customers move over 48,350 truckloads.

Our dispatch team has over 87 years of combined experience in the trucking industry. The logistics services provided by our skilled staff not only helps our customers find the right motor carriers to move their products by providing carrier availability with reliable motor carriers, but also helps motor carriers find freight opportunities with our customers.

History

Truckmovement was established by Matt Romesberg after working in the freight industry as an operations manager for several regional sized carriers. Matt brings over 38 years of experience to the company. In 2008, the company constructed a new operations center expanding the business from the original "garage start-up". Since the initial start-up back in 2005, the company has continued to grow and develop while successfully delivering over 46,200 truckloads.

Carriers

Truckmovement Inc. has contracts with over 3000 licensed motor carrier companies and adds new carriers to this base every week. Our current customer base is primarily located in the northeastern U.S., however a large portion of their products or vendors are located outside of this area. Therefore, Truckmovement has a large carrier base in the eastern U.S. and resources throughout much of the United States including the major commerce centers of the southern, central, and western portions of the U.S. All carriers are researched for safety, adequate insurance, length of business, and references. In addition, we require all carriers to have Truckmovement listed as an insurance certificate holder. Finally, it has been our experience to use carriers with a history of success, therefore we limit the majority of our carriers to those who have been in business for more than 2 years.
